Hi guys! As I've said in a previous blog post, I am going to start posting some of my poems here and there. Here is one of them called "Alibi".

Mine is not to reason why 

But is just to do or die

Mine is just a little bit of coffee and an apple pie 

and me daydreaming about you 

is the alibi 

the alibi

an antidote for asking “why”?

why can’t you love me? why can’t you just give it a try?

its because you already gave a try

but you never thought I was enough 

but enough of this 

it was a lie

you saying that our love was forever

and you’re so ashamed to cry 

thats why leaving me

was so easy to do

while i’m left here to swallow into myself and die
